FreeRTOS Source Code Download Issue

Hi, I downloaded FreeRTOSv7.0.2.exev from “http://sourceforge.net/projects/freertos/files/OldFiles“.
When i try to extract it i get the error mentioned below.
Error: Cannot open file ‘E:WorkFree_RTOSFreeRTOSv7.0.2.exe’ as archive
Can someone help me in getting the latest FreeRTOS source code?

As I mentioned in my email ….. if the self extractor is not working for you, download the .zip file instead of the .exe file:

and, if you have problems with the zip (not that I have here, but with FreeMODBUS I did), use a different browser.  IE-8 corrupts some zip files for no apparent reason…

Hi,
Thanks for the response. But i am using Firefox browser.
I am unable to extract even the zip file.
Please find the error report below.
Error: E:WorkFree_RTOSFreeRTOSv7.0.2.zip: Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive
Kindly provide me with a solution to extract the Source code.

Well, I really have no idea why you are having a problem.  It is related to your system or setup as nobody has ever reported the same issue. I just tried downloading the zip file and successfully unzipped it using 7-zip.  Maybe you could try that. Regards.

The zip file is too large to email. The self extracting exe file is much smaller and could be emailed. But I don’t think receiving it by email will make any difference to downloading it. I have retried both files now too, and I cannot find any problems with them. The exe file contains the unzip algorithms in the file, so no external unzip tool is required even.

OK. Mail me the exe file, i shall try extracting with it.
Why i am asking it is, if i can able to extract with the exe file which you sent. Then the problem might be with downloading or something else. If not we need to look in other aspect.

Hi All, Thanks for your response. I could able to download the ZIP file.
I was due to improper download which i could see from the size of the file downloaded prior and now. Thanks all for your support.
