Eclipse Zylin repository problem

Hi all, I’ve installed Eclipse Version: 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700. Then I’ve tried to install Zylin. Unfortunately Eclipse is reporting that there is no repository found in http://www.zylin.com/zylincdt. Is Zylin’s repository adress changed or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Adam

Eclipse Zylin repository problem

I’ve found out that this very new Eclipse version have C/C++ support built in and doesn’r really need Zylin support. Silly me ……… I’ve also installed Wittenstein StateViewer, but I am not sure how to make it running and use it. Any suggestions? Best regards, Adam

Eclipse Zylin repository problem

Eclipse has had built in support for years – I don’t know why people still try to use the (old) Zylin stuff. You should have received a .pdf file with instructions with the plug-in. Regards.

Eclipse Zylin repository problem

"Each FreeRTOS project includes a header file called FreeRTOSConfig.h, in which various FreeRTOS options can be configured.  Configuration options relevant to using the IAR State Viewer plug-in include configQUEUE_REGISTRY_SIZE and configUSE_TRACE_FACILITY. If the version of FreeRTOS being used is older than version 5.2.0 then configUSE_TRACE_FACILITY must be set to 1.  In all other cases configUSE_TRACE_FACILITY has no impact on the plug-in functionality. FreeRTOS includes a ‘queue registry’ feature.  After a queue or semaphore has been created it can optionally be added to the queue registry using the FreeRTOS vQueueAddToRegistry() API function.  The plug-in will only display queues and semaphores that have been added to the registry.  The number of places available in the queue registry is configured at compile time using  configQUEUE_REGISTRY_SIZE.  For example, to allow up to 10 queues and semaphores to be registered set configQUEUE_REGISTRY_SIZE to 10.  If configQUEUE_REGISTRY_SIZE is not included in FreeRTOSConfig.h then vQueueAddToRegistry() will have no effect and the plug-in will not display any queue or semaphore information."

"Eclipse has had built in support for years – I don’t know why people still try to use the (old) Zylin stuff. " For example because when you search for ARM Eclipse based IDE, you hit Yagarto webpage: http://www.yagarto.org/ or http://www.yagarto.de/ This page still refers Zylin and people try to install it. BTW. Thank you for all information. Now my Eclipse looks like ready to go.
