I am currently working on a project which has ARM 968  processor,  which has 32 Kbytes of ROM and 32 Kbyte RAM. I want to port the FREERtos, I am having difficulty to do so is there any demo for arm968 porting or any kind of help which could be useful, so that I can port FreeRTOS on arm968

There are a few ARM9 ports around already.  Take a look at the STR9 demo for example. Regards.
